"This document will be a specific plan of actions for our countries in development of bilateral cooperation," Hennadii Zubko said Monday as quoted by Sputnik News.

He added, “It is very important that we have come up with a transition to the implementation of specific joint projects and cooperation.”

The Ukrainian vice president along with the country’s Minister of Energy and Coal Industry Vladimir Demchishin and several other officials arrived in Tehran on Monday to participate in the session of the Ukrainian-Iranian Joint Commission on trade and economic cooperation.

Zubko added that the two sides decided to enhance cooperation in agricultural, metallurgic, mining and aviation spheres.

There has been growing international interest in trade ties with Iran since Tehran and the Group 5+1 (Russia, China, the US, Britain, France and Germany) on July 14, 2015 finalized a comprehensive deal on Tehran’s nuclear program and implemented it on January 16.

The comprehensive nuclear deal, also known as the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA), terminated all nuclear-related sanctions on Iran after coming into force.
